RELIGION

Student Religion Studies

Well I’m going to state why I think public schools should not have conversations about certain religions in school. Most public schools are diverse so many of the students don’t believe in the same religion. For example say there is a class in session and a student decides to bring up their religion and the teacher believes in the same religion, and they stopped the whole class from doing work to talk about it. But the other people who don’t believe in that religion so they feel offended because they believe in something totally different. So there becomes a big out burst between two students going back and forth and starts maybe a fight or huge problems between the students.

I think that only private schools should have conversations about certain religions because the private school should not be diverse, the private school would have all students that sure the same religion. So every one would be able to talk together and it would be less problems and no one would feel offended because they share the same religion.

As I look up things on the Internet to see why religion should not be allowed to be talked about in school I came up with a lot of things. The one thing I came across that made more sense to me was the passage that said that
“Prayer in public schools is a contentious issue and one which seems to arouse the most anger and the most passion among people on both sides the question of the separation of church and state.” But most of the websites stated that most people cant talk about religion in schools because there is mostly arguments about different religions and who religion is better.
